This picture features my friend in a silhouette view with a tree in a middle. This was taken in a beach in Kupang called Batu Nona Beach. You can search for that in google. He directed the session himself and it turns out very well as you can see.
I took this picture in the way that he wanted. He was pretty happy about the image especially after I did some edit to the picture. I was bringing more of clarity to the picture to make the water stands out. I did less decrease the highlight and increase the contrast to make that silhouette effect. Was playing with the cure tone too, making it more red gives it a sunset situation.
In the taking process I been told to make sure the tree on the middle and himself anywhere. So I used the grid line to helped me positioning the objects. I place him in the bottom left intersection, and of course the tree on the middle of the lines.
